Cardiff International Airport is approximately 12 miles south west of Cardiff in the village of Rhoose. Cardiff International Airport is 10 miles from Junction 33 on the M4. Exit at Junction 33 and follow the A4232. In March 2007 Civil Aviation Authority figures showed passengers at Cardiff Airport had passed the two million mark, and with an annual growth rate of 14% it was the UK's fastest growing regional airport. Highland Airways operate several daily services between Anglesey and Cardiff, providing a quicker alternative to commuters travelling between North and South Wales previously relying on the A470 or rail link.
