Robin Hood Airport/Doncaster Airport is situated approximately 5 miles southeast of Doncaster and 18 miles east of Sheffield, and is easily accessible just off the A638 and A614 roads which provide access to the M18 motorway to Sheffield and the M1 to London.

Doncaster Airport is the UK’s newest purpose built international Airport. Built on the site of the former RAF Finningley airbase. Doncaster Airport started commercial operation in 2005, has a brand new glass fronted terminal and one of the UK's longest runways.
